Brunel University Deputy VC issues statement on the referendum

Prof. Andrew George, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education & International) at Brunel University London, has made a statement to 'Britain in Europe' about the forthcoming referendum.

In his statement, Prof George underlines the benefits that derive from the free movement of goods, ideas and people, as well as the importance of research collaborations and opportunities for students to study abroad and be part of a larger community.

Recognising that there are problems with the EU, especially a massive bureaucracy, he calls upon voters to weigh up advantages and disadvantages, and decide accordingly.
