“The rule of law was under severe attack. The rule of law has prevailed.”, wrote BiE director, Prof Giannoulopoulos, in a letter to The Guardian, following the Supreme Court’s historic ruling in Cherry and Miller (2) that the Prime Minister’s suspension of parliament was unlawful.
