Analysing Brexit in 2017: tough questions as the UK is moving towards the exit

What will be the impact of Brexit on the protection of human rights in the UK? Will departure from the EU have a domino effect on commitment to European Convention on Human Rights values? Why has the UK Government not yet unilaterally recognised EU citizens' rights? What about the rights of Brits in the EU? Is current uncertainty in itself a violation of the right to private and family life? Does Brexit risk breaking the UK constitution?

 

These are just some of the critical questions that we have addressed at the 'Britain in Europe' think tank in 2017.

 

There are even tougher questions to ask in 2018, as the UK proceeds towards exiting the EU, and we have yet to resolve fundamental problems and answer key dilemmas...
